It was so much fun at Annie’s Book Stop in Laconia, NH this afternoon as I signed books and enjoyed talking with customers. (I wasn’t even nervous either.) A few of my co-workers stopped by, as well as relatives and friends—some I haven’t seen in ages. Also, I met people who, even though they didn’t know me personally, purchased the book. It was a great time.

After the signing, I relaxed with a glass of wine and had a nice dinner with my two sons at The Local Eatery, a new restaurant in the former Laconia train station. The food was delicious and the company couldn’t have been better.

What a perfect day!

Cathy, The best book events are the ones where friends and family show to support you. I’m glad you had such a great day. Then to finish it off with your kids, really does make it perfect!!

  2. That’s what it’s all about. Putting up your flag and getting support for your art.
