Mt WashingtonAfter some miserable rainy weather, temps finally reached 60 degrees in the Lakes Region (NH) later today. It should be nice again tomorrow. Can it really be true? Has warmer weather finally arrived here?

It’s starting to look that way. Ice out on Lake Winnipesaukee has occurred, flowers are blooming, and there’s no snow in sight!

Well, maybe there’s still a little snow in New Hampshire, at least there was a couple of weeks ago.

On Easter Sunday, while traveling through North Conway, my husband took this picture of Mt. Washington.

And as he was taking it, he so rightly said, “It looks better up there than it does down here!”

Absolutely beautiful!

Update: As I was posted this, the rain returned. Darn!

What a beautiful photo! We’re going to hit 90 degrees Sunday (Texas).

90 degrees is way too hot for me! I hope you love that kind of weather. I prefer about 20 degrees lower with a little breeze. 🙂
